Born in 1970, Barbara Navi lives and works in Paris. After training in Design and Interior Architecture at the École Boulle and studying Philosophy at the Sorbonne, Barbara Navi began developing a body of work in the 2000s in which plastic inventiveness, a taste for experimentation and discovery, and the variety of themes and subjects explored are all at the service of a constant dialogue with the classics of painting and cinema. Barbara Navi's work has been shown in solo and group exhibitions in France and abroad, notably at MO.CO. in Montpellier (2023), at the "À Cent Mètres du Centre du Monde" contemporary art center in Perpignan (2022), at L'Ar(t)senal in Dreux (2021), at the Musée Benoît-De-Puydt in Bailleul (2020), at the Centre d'histoire et mémorial 14-18 in Notre-Dame-de-Lorette, Center d'art contemporain Centrul-de-Interes in Cluj-Napoca, Romania (2018), Musée La-Piscine in Roubaix (2018), Abbaye de Beaulieu-en-Rouergue (2017) and Baumwollspinnerei in Leipzig (2013).

Born in Montpellier in 1979, Numa Hambursin is a French author, art critic, curator and institution director specializing in contemporary art. Artistic director of Carré Sainte-Anne in Montpellier from 2010 to 2017, a venue dedicated to contemporary art exhibitions, and then head of contemporary and modern art for the City of Cannes, he has exhibited numerous artists including Carole Benzaken, Robert Combas, Marc Desgranchamps, Hervé Di Rosa, Gérard Garouste, Jonathan Meese, Jean-Michel Othoniel, Chiharu Shiota and Barthélémy Toguo. In 2013, he took charge of the contemporary art program at Société Hélénis, and then became director of the Fondation GGL-Hélénis, housed in the Hôtel Richier de Belleval, the former town hall of Montpellier. In 2021, he becomes General Manager of Mo.Co, Montpellier Contemporain.
