Domitille Ortès. Horti Pensiles is the artist's first monograph, presenting her latest series of paintings exhibited in her first show at Galerie Marguerite Milin in Paris. It includes a preface by Richard Leydier and a text by Max Torregrossa.

Born in Saint-Brieuc, Domitille Ortès is a graduate of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris. She taught drawing at the Ateliers Beaux-Arts de la Ville de Paris. Her paintings, drawings, photographs and photosculptures have been shown in the galleries Metropolis (Paris), Sara Guedj (Paris), Védovi (Brussels), Little Birds Gallery (Paris), Art22 (Brussels), VivoEquidem (Paris), Galeria Nueva (Madrid), 24Beaubourg (Paris), Marguerite Milin (Paris) and at Art Paris (Paris), Drawing Now (Paris), fotofever (Paris and Brussels), MIA& D (Singapore), cutlog (Paris), Art-Karlsruhe (Karlsruhe) and at the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Paris. Her work has been included in various public (Fonds National d'Art Contemporain, Paris) and private collections in France and abroad (Paris, London, New York, Geneva). Domitille Ortès lives and works in Paris.

Richard Leydier is an exhibition curator, art critic and former editor-in-chief of Art Press magazine. In this capacity, he has written a large number of monographs on artists as diverse as David Altmejd, Bernhard Martin, Georg Baselitz, Vanessa Beecroft and Ernesto Neto. He is the author of several books on Ronan Barrot, Marc Desgrandchamps, Jean Messagier, Jonathan Meesse and François Rouan, among others.

Max Torregrossa is director of the VivoEquidem gallery (Paris), independent curator and art critic.
