Marko Velk was born in 1969 in Spliten, Croatia. He lives and works in the Paris region. A graduate of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Paris, his work has been exhibited since the early 1990s in nearly one hundred exhibitions, including twenty solo shows.
Jean Clair is one of the great figures of art history in France. Born in 1940, he is a member of the Académie française since 2008, general curator of heritage, writer and art historian. He began his career at the Musée de l'Orangerie in Paris, then was curator at the Centre Pompidou from 1980 to 1989 before directing the Musée Picasso in Paris until 2005. He has curated a number of exhibitions including "Les réalismes" (1980), "Vienne, 1880-1938: l'apocalypse joyeuse" (1986), "Marcel Delmotte" (1987), "L'âme au corps" (1993), "Mélancolie" (2005), "Crime et châtiment" (2010), and directed the Centennial Biennale in Venice He has written nearly sixty novels and essays.
