Chuang Che. Chaotic Harmony is the catalog published for the exhibition "Chaotic Harmony" at the Galerie Vazieux in Paris (FR) from October 6 to November 12, 2022.

"Chuang Che, a great pioneer of Chinese abstraction, mixes in his abstract landscapes, bright colors, turbulence of forms, transparency and material effects. From this improbable chaos emerges a perfect harmony, full of joy and melancholy, from which emanates a boundless freedom. Born in Beijing in 1934, Chuang Che grew up in a family of scholars. His father, a renowned calligrapher, was also vice-director of the Forbidden City Museum. In 1948, he actively participated in the transportation of the museum's works to Taipei. Chuang Che was 14 years old when he witnessed this tremendous epic. Throughout his work, traditional Chinese painting will remain an inexhaustible source of inspiration." (Sabine Vazieux)
