Chloé Silbano. Ces derniers temps is the artist's first monograph. It retraces the last three years of Chloé Silbano's work during her residency at the Beijing Yishu8 Art House. The book includes a text by Michel Nuridsany.

Chloé Silbano graduated with honors from the Beaux-Arts de Paris. She is the winner of the Prix Yishu8 2020, and a guest artist at the Centre National d'Etudes Spatiales for 2022-2023. Her studio is in Poush, Ile-de-France. She has exhibited at Gr_und (Berlin), Fondation Fernet-Branca (Basel), 104 (Paris), l'Approche (Brussels), Centre d'Art de Villiers-sur-Marne, Galerie L'œil Histrion (Caen), A 2 Pas du Sacre (Reims), La Box (La Réunion) and recently presented her work in Kazakhstan with Galerie Pygmalion.

Born in 1938 in Neuilly-sur-Seine, Michel Nuridsany is active in three fields: art, literature and cinema. He has worked as an art critic for Le Figaro, France Culture and Art Press, as a literary critic for Le Figaro, and founded the magazine Rendez-vous. An editor with Flammarion (director of the "Textes" collection) and the Bibliothèque Nationale, he has published two novels, four biographies and a book on contemporary Chinese art with Flammarion. He wrote the screenplay for Juan Luis Bunuel's "Leonor" (with Liv Ullmann and Piccoli) and directed films on Boltanski, Messager, Lavier and Klossowsi. He was president of the jury for the 2009 Montreal Art Film Festival. Among the many exhibitions he has curated are "Ils se disent peintre ils se disent photographe" (ARC 1980), "C'est pas du cinéma" (video at Le Fresnoy 2002), "Les nouveaux réalistes" (Beijing, Shanghai, Canton 2003), "Chine génération vidéo" (Maison Européenne de la photo, 2004), "Lux" (on light, at Le Fresnoy, exhibition repeated in Beijing and Shanghai 2014-2015). He was curator of the Sao Paulo Biennial in 1985 and artistic director of the Rencontres photographiques d'Arles in 1995.
