Floris Dutoit. Bonjour le bonheur is the catalog published on the occasion of the exhibition "Floris Dutoit. Bonjour le bonheur" at the Galerie Henri Chartier in Lyon (FR) from November 18, 2021 to January 15, 2022.

The publication was produced with the support of the galleries / first exhibition of the CNAP (Centre national des arts plastiques)

Born in 1993, Floris Dutoit lives and works in Paris. He graduated in 2018 from ENSBA (Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-arts de Lyon), Lyon, and received the Hélène Linossier prize the same year. He exhibited in 2017 in the Quarantenaire exhibition at the Centre Pompidou and the following year at the Gare Perrache, Lyon in the exhibition "Everywhere... but not for very long". In 2019, his work is presented at FISAD, festival of the Albertina Academy of Fine Arts in Turin, then in 2020, at the Biennial ARTPRESS of young people at the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Saint-Etienne. He is hosted the same year at the Residence Saint-Ange from February to April 2020.

"Floris Dutoit's painting, which favors outrageous images, does not leave one indifferent. In memory, we had never seen a Self-portrait taking a shit, or someone painting a boil: Big Red Button and Big Yellow Button, the titles testify to a certain laconism. This is the method used by the artist: "The daily universe of my paintings comes from the overflow of cheap and disposable images. These images, created to be destroyed, find their longevity in my paintings." The paths he has chosen to walk have many surprises in store." (Richard Leydier in Art Press, June 2020)

Eugénie Zély was born in 1993 and works between the Vendée and Paris. She is an artist and author. She published Thune Amertume Fortune at Burn Août editions in 2021. His work has notably been shown at the Palais des Beaux-arts in Paris, the Open School Galery (Nantes), the Centre Pompidou...

Born in 1972, Richard Leydier is an exhibition curator, art critic and editor of the magazine Art Press.
