Walk on the wild side is the first monograph on the artist published on the occasion of Quentin Lefranc's solo exhibition at the QG Gallery in Knokke-le-Zoute (BE) from May 18th to July 4th 2023. It includes a preface by Thierry Raspail, texts by Jessica Watson, Donatien Grau and Clara Daquin, as well as an interview of the artist with Stéphane Ibars.

A graduate of the Ecole Nationale des arts décoratifs, Quentin Lefranc lives and works in Paris. Conceived as a place of study, architecture serves as a framework, a territory and a playground for Quentin Lefranc's proposals.

Clara Daquin is an independent art critic and curator. She graduated from the Ecole cantonale d'Art de Lausanne (ECAL) in Visual Arts and from the Sorbonne in Art History, and holds a master's degree in curatorial studies from the Université Paris Sorbonne. She has been curating exhibitions within the Mathilde Expose collective since 2015.She has collaborated with Lafayette Anticipations – Fondation d'entreprise Galeries Lafayette, and The Community, a collective and multidisciplinary platform. She was coordinator of the residencies of the Fiminco Foundation, she now works at the Palace of Versailles.

Donatien Grau is a philosopher, a former student of the École normale supérieure, an agrégé de Lettres, a graduate of the Institut d'Études Politiques de Paris, a doctor of French and comparative literature from the University of Paris-Sorbonne, and a doctor of philosophy from Oxford University. Formerly advisor for contemporary programs at the Musée d'Orsay, he has been advisor for contemporary programs at the Musée du Louvre since 2022.

After training in international and European law, followed by a course in art history, Stéphane Ibars joined the Magasin school in Grenoble. He soon joined the team of the Collection Lambert in Avignon, where he is now in charge of artistic and cultural programming and curating exhibitions. At the same time, he works as a freelance curator and artistic director and teaches the history of contemporary art and counterculture at the universities of Montpellier, Nîmes and Avignon.

Thierry Raspail is an art historian specializing in contemporary art, he was curator at the Museum of Grenoble and then director of the MAC Lyon from its creation in 1984 until his retirement in 2018, and co-creator in 1991 of the Biennial of Contemporary Art in Lyon of which he was the artistic director. He is also a regular curator of exhibitions.

Jessica Watson is a specialist in early 20th century art in Germany and Russia. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in art history and museology from Smith College and a Master's degree from the Ecole du Louvre. Jessica Watson worked at the Eugène Delacroix Museum before taking charge of the contemporary collections of the City of Dijon's museums. She is currently a project manager for the President of the Centre Pompidou in Paris.
